Upgrades and renewals
Your license covers the major version you buy and every update to it. When the next major version is released, you can choose to upgrade at a reduced price from the Renew / Upgrade section of the buy page using your license key. If you don't, your current version keeps working.

Billing questions
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once (US$199) and the license is yours for good. Updates within your major version are included. When a new major version comes out, upgrading is optional and offered at a reduced upgrade price. Your current version keeps working either way.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC (64-bit). The installer doesn't need administrator rights. An internet connection is needed to activate your license, check it now and then, and send email.
Where is my data stored?
On your own computer, in a local database under your Windows profile, not on our servers. Built-in Backup and Full Backup create files you can keep wherever you like.
Can more than one person use it?
Each license activates on one computer. You can create several sign-ins (Admin or Rep) on that computer, but EBIS-Pro doesn't share live data between computers. A networked, multi-computer edition isn't available yet.
Can I schedule a campaign to send later?
Yes. In the Email Center, tick Schedule for later, pick the date and time, and EBIS-Pro sends the campaign then. Scheduled campaigns appear in the campaign history, where you can reschedule or cancel them. EBIS-Pro needs to be running on your PC at the scheduled time, since the email goes out from your own computer and account.
Which email accounts can send campaigns?
Any email account that lets you send by SMTP with a password or app password, such as Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud and most business email hosting. Campaigns go out from your own address, so there are no per-contact or per-email fees from us.
I got a new computer. Can I move my license?
Yes. Use Settings → License → Move to Another Computer in the app, or request a move link by email if the old PC is gone. You can move it yourself up to 3 times in 12 months; after that, contact us.

Do you charge sales tax?
Customers in Canada pay GST/HST (and PST/QST where it applies), based on the province you enter at checkout. The tax is shown before you pay, and you receive an invoice and receipt by email.
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe, or with PayPal. Payment happens on Stripe's or PayPal's secure pages; we never see your card number. Prices are available in US, Canadian and Australian dollars, euros and pounds sterling.
